Juanjo Guerra B. Cáceres (Spain) 1978

My practice is focused on the relation between drawing, painting and music and its representation through dance, although my interest also extends to performance and architectural spaces.

Additionally, I try to find a way to apprehend, complement and extend the meaning and understanding of the common space (linked) between different arts rather than describing each one independently. I combine the arts with the aim of collecting residual traces as a result of the interaction between them. Later, I use these traces to create new interdisciplinary works.

The interactions between different art disciplines do not respond to any hierarchies between its branches, instead, they follow non-linear dynamics. They operate in a level in which multiplicity and unity are, in fact, concomitant.
